This started with a few samples from a documentary about the 1960s that William had in his archives: the flute and the guy saying "I can be a flower child..." Sean Bennett, who suffered through the entire recording process as a resident of 1274 Birch Street, played the guitar. We recorded Phil's massive-sounding three-piece kit with one mic. That's Matthew Lillard in "SLC Punk" raving "Ooooo, Kumbaya! I am the future!"
